It was unearthed from a grave of the Ming Dynasty (1368~1644) in Jiangyin, Jiangsu province.  It was made of tough wood used for evacuation of pus.  Its surface is smooth, like a bone needle.  It is now kept in the Jiangyin Museum, Jiangsu province.
