| The tuina therapy acts to relax muscles and tendons, activate meridians, promote blood circulation to remove stasis, subside swellings and kill pain. Its indications are trauma and pain. Therefore the tuina therapy is not used in the following cases:
(1) The Patients with acute and chronic infectious diseases, e.g. hepatitis, dermatosis
(2) Patients with infectious bone diseases, e.g. bone tuberculosis and osteomyelitis
(3) Maneuver Patients with severe heart, liver, renal and lung diseases
(4) Patients with cancer, pernicious anemia, extreme weakness due to chronic diseases
(5) Patients with hemorrhagic tendency, e.g. thrombocytopenic purpura or allergic purpura
(6) Patients with fracture, dislocation and injury to the spinal cord
