Wen Yi Lun (On Pestilence) written by Wu Youxing in 1642 was the first monograph on the cause of warm pathogen disease or epidemic febrile disease. According to his opinion epidemic pathogenic factors were the trigger. Wu had made an indelible contribution to the theory of infectious diseases.
