| Guang An Men Hospital |
| Founded in 1955, the Guang An Men Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences is part of the World Health Organization Collaborating Centers for Traditional Medicine. The hospital’s International Training Center for TCM and Clinical Center for Acupuncture have trained more than 1,000 international acupuncturists. The hospital has set up a joint research institute on traditional medicine with Waseda University of Japan, a cooperative research center with SK Group in South Korea to develop new herbal medications for tumors, and a cooperative medical institute with Tung Shin Hospital, Malaysia. For many years, it has run courses for students from different countries each year. They come for training in acupuncture-moxibustion and tuina. |
