| Sino-European Conference on Traditional Chinese Medicine |
| The “Sino-European Conference on Traditional Chinese Medicine – International Scientific and Technological Cooperation and Prospects” jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the P.R.C., the Health Ministry of Italy and Directorate-General for Research of the European Commission was ceremoniously held in Rome, from June 27th-28th,． This was the first time the Chinese government held a conference abroad to showcase the achievements of traditional Chinese medicine and to seek international scientific and technological cooperation. Dong Jinyi, Chinese ambassador and Sun Chengyong, Counselor of Science and Technology participated in a variety of activities at the conference including the opening ceremony. |
