| Xiao Zhi Ling Injection for hemorrhoids developed by Shi Zhaoqi et al of the Guang An Men Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, won gold medals in Yugoslavia and Belgium in 1986. In 1990 it won a gold medal from the Chinese Medical Scientific Achievements Awards and it was one of the most popular products of traditional Chinese medicine introduced to the world. |
| Zhou Jimin of the Guang An Men Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences carried out “A Clinical and Experimental Research on 6% Alum Injection in Treatment of Adult Complete Rectal Prolapse”. He won the 2nd place of the Scientific Achievement Awards of the Health Ministry in 1981, and the 3rd place of National Science Advance Awards in 1985. |
