| Research on Blood-Activating and Stasis-Resolving Method |

| Great progress was made in the study of the mechanism of the blood-activating and stasis-resolving method and the nature of blood stagnation and stasis in the past 50 years. “The Blood Stasis and Blood-Activating and Stasis-Resolving Project” won the 1st place of the National Scientific Progress Prize after about 40 years effort led by Academician Chen Keji and Li Lianda of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences on the National Scientific Merit Conference held on Feb. 20, 2004. This result places China in the lead internationally in successful treatment of coronary heart disease and pectoris angina. |
