Rhizoma Hierochloe OdorataM, Herba Eupatoni, Pericardium Zanthoxyli and Cortex Cinnamomi, four medicinal substances of the Western Han Dynasty (206B.C.-A.D.24), unearthed from Grave 1, Ma Wang Dui, Hunan province, kept in the Medical History Museum, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine
  It is a monograph on medicinal substances written in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220).It contains 365 medicinal substances in conjunction with their properties and flavors, indications, place of origin and alternative names. According to their properties and action, the medicinal substances are divided into three categories. It points out that using herbs in combination may enhance their effect or reduce side effect.
