| In the Qing Dynasty(1644~1911): In the Qing dynasty a medical school was set up in the Imperial Medical Institution. Students learned specialized disciplines. The president and vice-president supervised the medical school, and were responsible for examining of both teachers and students. The imperial court physicians, lower ranking officials and teaching assistants assumed the responsibility for education itself. |
