Medical ethics have been elaborated in many Chinese medical classics, among which the most famous is Qian Jin Yao Fang·Da Yi Jing Cheng (Invaluable Prescriptions·Quality and Sincerity， the Oath of Practitioners) by Sun Simiao (581-682), an outstanding practitioner of the Tang Dynasty（618 ~ 907）deemed that a qualified practitioner must be knowledgeable, sincere to patients, and have a high level of morality. |
