Acupuncture Teaching Aids — Acupuncture Bronze Figure
The bronze figure and Xin Zhu Tong Ren Shu Xue Zhen Jiu Tu Jing (The Newly Cast Illustrated Manual of Points on a Bronze Figure) were the first visual teaching aids of acupuncture. The illustrations and concise explanations helped students easily memorize what was taught. Students were able to practice needling on the bronze figure, which was also used for examination purposes.
